Happy Monday Everyone!

Let go off the Monday blues by revealing a fresher softer looking skin. πŸ˜€ No this not an advert of any sorts, I’m just going to help you with the best way to get a glowing skin by using one ingredient that is available anywhere and everywhere; that will also not put any dents in your pocket!

Milk is one ingredient which either loved or hated! But weather you like to consume it or no (I also hate drinking milk, honestly it doesn’t suit me; it breaks me out :/) it’s great to get you a soft glowing skin.

My Experience using milk on my face- Honestly I was sh*t scared; and thought it sure would break me out. To my dismay, it even did πŸ™ But soon I realized that after using milk regularly; my skin sort of got used to it.I loved the soft feel that it gave to my skin and loved the fresh glow as well. Since then I swear by it, whenever my dry skin calls out for more moisture and when I need glowing skin

Though I do limit my use to play it safe; but whenever I use it I fall in love with my skin πŸ™‚

Ways to use MILK for Glowing skin:

To Exfoliate:

Milk contains Lactic Acid which is a great for mild exfoliation. It removes the dead skin cells to reveal a better skin. If you are one of those who prefer a coarse scrub, mix milk with rice flour to attain the perfect texture for a perfect scrub!

Moisturizer:

Since milk also has fat content, it acts as a great moisturizer. Just take a cotton ball and dip it in milk; apply all over and wash it off after 30 minutes. You really can feel the difference πŸ™‚

Skin Lightener/Tan Remover:

Lactic Acid in Milk, is great to remove tan as well. Take raw (un-boiled) milk and apply it all over. You will notice that within 10 days your tan will be vanished!

Cleanser:

If you have sensitive skin that goes into a panic mode as soon as a foam cleanser comes into picture; full fat milk can be your savior! It has excellent cleansing properties, will remove make up too without stripping off your skin’s natural oil.

Yes! Milk is one all rounder. Pick up anyone of the above ways (it all boils down to one ingredient anyway :p) and see a remarkable difference in your skin.

Have fantastic week ahead! πŸ™‚

Love and Light,
