Hello everyone! Today its time to ponder over our lifestyle and realize few important things that will help us get glowing clear skin from inside and out. It will not only make you look good but also feel great and confident.
When I was young I used to love Maggie, hate exercising, dislike veggies and never used sunscreen. Yes, I am paying the price for it today as well, but not that much since there a few lifestyle and skin care change that I have made over the years now which has helped me achieve a good clear skin, so much so that I donβt use foundation at all π (except for weddings of course!)
Here I am sharing my experience and methods to get a healthy clear skin:
1. Use SUNSCREEN DAILY:
I cannot stress enough on this. Today, the only problem I have on my skin is unevenness; which is a result of never using sunscreen in my entire teens! Please guys use a sunscreen with at least spf 30 every single day, re-apply after 3-4 hours. Use it when you are home as well (You can skip re-applying here). If you donβt do this; will be your major cause of not having a flawless clear skin when you grow up, irrespective at any age you are today!
2. EXFOLIATE!
Yes, ensure you are using a good quality natural scrub at least once a week. Exfoliation helps your skin regenerate and breathe, it leads to a softer clear skin! best is to use a home-made scrub its simple mix rice powder with honey and coconut oil and scrub well π Be nice to your skin while exfoliating, do not be too harsh!

3. Once a week MUD MASK will give you a clear skin:
Whether you have dry or oily skin; once a week use mud mask. If you have extremely dry skin, Mix honey into your mask and keep it for 10 minutes only. Mud Masks detoxify your skin, removing the dirty toxins out. Itβs like you are gifting your skin a new skin!

4. Use a good MOISTURIZER:
Irrespective of your skin type or age: you MUST use a moisturizer. It is very very important to moisturize your skin, moisturizers make your skin soft and help lock in the moisture, which acts as a protective barrier for your skin. You may choose any kind of moisturizer depending on your needs but ensure that it does its basic job of moisturizing well. Also keep your self hydrated from within; HOW? WATERRR ! π
My current Favorite? Hands down THIS!
5. Clean your skin well but NOT too much!
Yes, ensure that your skin is always clean and free from bacteria. But over cleansing will disturb the Ph balance of your skin, leading to break out and other skin issues. So cleanse your skin TWICE A DAY. Morning prefer a natural cleanser (check this out) and evening you can use a mild cleanser like Cetaphil or AHA glow depending on your skin type.
Note: When you wash your face with a cleanser or plain water it disturbs the Ph of your skin. THIS is where a TONER steps in. plain ROSE WATER would work great here. Just dab it with cotton and let it seep in.
6. Eat, Hog and Eat - RIGHT!
This you must have read everywhere. But trust me, I have experience it, of good you would feel and how amazing your skin would behave when you eat right. I was really a bad eater! Never believed in healthy eating. I thought only those beauties who are on a weight loss program needs to eat right. But oh boy! I was so wrong. Now that I have started eating right consciously it makes a HUGE difference to the number of breakouts I get, and the way my skin responds to god food π

7. MOVE your BUTT!
Yes, you heard me right! Move your butt YOU! So you think you can be a model or just your perfect self just by sitting around? Well, I am sorry for being so blunt! but you gotta do something to sweat it out. Sweat opens your pores and gives you that glow from within thereby leading to healthy clear skin. Again, when I was growing up, and realized all of the above except for this point. I used to wonder, that I am taking care of my skin and hair like no one! Then why donβt I have the glow from within like how my sister does or a few of my school friends? THIS was the answer. It took me really long time to realize but like you say its never too late, so get up and go RUN!
8. SEE what you are putting on your FACE!
Yes, there are companies out there that DO NOT care for you. They are nothing but marketing gimmicks! Please donβt fall into the trap. No I am not talking about the basic parabens, SLS etc. There are good ingredients out there that your skin type needs; look for them and go for it.

- Do visit a dermatologist every 3 or 4 months, only to ensure that you are on a right track for your clear skin goal π Though its not a mandate.
