Hello Everyone!
How has life been treating you? Mine has been a little lost but moving π So I have been experimenting with Ayurvedic herbs a lot lately. I am totally convinced that we are extremely blessed because we have these herbs available in India.
Ayurveda goes back centuries! Somewhere in all the commercial mess, we forgot the importance of the simplicity in skincare. Now that ayurvedic brands are coming up, I still fear; since Ayurvedic powders are now mixed with other not-so-good powders. It is so difficult to know what is really pure! A few brands are charging exorbitantly for their products claiming that they are the purest. However, there is little you can do or know about their ‘claimedβ purity. On a brighter side, there are a few Ayurvedic recipes that you can use for a glowing complexion:
Easy Ayurvedic Recipes for Glowing Skin:
Curd + Kasturi Manjal (Amba Haldi)
This combination is amazing to remove your tan and make your skin clean and glowing. You can add raw milk or little gram flour to make it more potent. Apply it as a mask for 30 mins and wash it off with water. Use it thrice a week for maximum benefits.
Aloevera Paste + Banana:
This combination works on all skin types and is excellent to maintain a healthy glow on your skin. This is also a highly potent anti-aging recipe and will work wonders on your fine lines. Use it regularly (thrice a week) for best results. You can wash off this mask with raw milk and let your skin air dry π
Sandalwood paste + Milk cream + Turmeric:
This is a bridal recipe and will ensure a glow to your skin. It will make your skin silky soft and is a boon for dry skin beauties. Leave it on for 30 minutes and wash it off with rose water. Let your skin air dry π
Almond meal + Milk + Saffron:
This will be pure luxury on your skin. When a top notch brand markets their product as pure, this is what I expect. The feel and aroma of this combination is to die for. This will add a healthy glow to your skin and will not only make it soft but will also erase spots and fine lines. Use it regularly for best results.
Arenβt these recipes really easy and worth the time and efforts? On a tired day pamper your skin and you will be the happiest in that department.
Any other combination you have tried?
Have a great week,
Love and Light,
