On my last haul I got attracted to this Bon Organics African Black Mud Soap and here’s the review!
I have really liked my Aloevera gel and organic sunscreen from this brand. I did not need a soap but I couldn’t help my self from buying this soap coz of its name. Since a long time, I have been in awe of Africa’s beauty secrets, coz they are many and so good! So when I read the word, African black mud, I had to put it in my cart. 😀

This unique soap of ours blessed with Black mud has deep penetrating & mild scrubbing properties while leaving the skin soft & supple with its fascinating ability to absorb moisture from the air. It is believed that black mud helps to penetrate, dissolve subcutaneous fat, tone, and moisturize skin. We enhance this soap with a blend of organic Vetiver and organic Lemon essential oils.
Ingredients:
Saponified Organic Corn oil (Zea Mays), Organic Coconut oil (Cocos Nucifera), Castor Oil Ricinus Communis], Organic Neem Oil (Melia Azadirachta), Olive oil (Olea Europaea), Demineralised water, roasted plantain skins, cocoa,palm tree leaves, Shea Butter (ButyrospermumParkii), Essential oil of organic lemon (Citrus Medica Limonum), Nannari [Hemidesmus indicus], vettiver [Vetiveria zizaniodes] & Natural preservative salinatural TCLS – preservative is based on Turmeric Oil, Clove Bud Oil, Lemon Grass Oil and Sesame Oil

MY EXPERIENCE WITH BON Organics African Black Mud Soap
So at first when I read the ingredients, I was a little disappointed to not see ‘African black mud’ in the ingredients list. But soon I realized that this is an oil based soap and the oils are infused with the mud. Things fell in place in my head 🙂 I have been using this from the next day itself, that should be about a month. So far no complaints at all!
The soap lathers well, and superficially scrubs your skin, which I love <3 It does not leave my skin dry at all, infact I was scared to use this soap in winters, but I was surprised to see how moisturizing this soap is. The oils does a brilliant job and the scrubbing particles makes skin soft. Over all It’s a great soap at the price offered.
Coming to the packaging, it is beautifully wrapped in a cloth; which is covered with a brown corrugated kind of paper. Looks lovely 🙂 The fragrance is very mild, difficult to give a word to it, but it definitely will not bother your nose. Additionally, as compared to a natural soap, this one lasts really long and I did not need to cut it into half. It does not melt a lot which is good.
