Since ages now, I have been saving orange peels, infact people in my office also know that they are supposed to give me the peels of oranges they eat 😛 I am so much in love with my homemade orange peel powder, that nothing else seems to be good enough.

So What is it about Orange Peels?

Orange peels are really high in Citric acid content, that is responsible for glowing and bright skin. Rather then throwing such goodness away, we should ensure we make use of this wonder ingredient. The nutrient value is so good, take a look below:

How do you make Orange Peel Powder:

  1. Never throw those peels away, collect some and place it on a tray
  2. Take that tray and keep it in direct sunlight for 10 days (you can use your building terrace)
  3. Keep checking to ensure there are no worms in it
  4. Once it dry and hard, crush them into a powder in a mixture
  5. Store the dry powder in an air tight container in a refrigerator
  6. This can last you a whole year!
