Hi Everyone!
How’s your week coming along ?
I’ve been more cautious off lately for my skin and hair since there is another trip coming up in December (Yayy!) Seriously I love travelling.. I think I work and earn only to travel So ya since a trip is coming up soon I have been taking care of my skin and hair to ensure it has the perfect glow and is in a healthy condition.
Seriously I have realized that no matter what beauty product is ruling the market, the results that home remedies give especially the yummy in the tummy fruits give are wonderful and so much cheaper!
This is a triple benefit post for you since this will directly affect your body, skin and hair ! Trust me it will show a major difference when you eat these fruits regularly and also apply them topically.
So here’s a list of fruits you must eat and apply for great skin and hair
Apple’s:
Apples have been celebrated as a great fruit for body, skin and hair. They are a great source of multiple vitamins and are loaded with goodness. Just a good rub of apple juice on your skin will make it glow. Apple cider vinegar is widely used around the world for multiple skin and hair issues. Apples are a great source to combat dandruff as well. When used on the skin it is great at toning the skin and fighting acne.
Banana’s:
This wonder fruit is a great source of biotin, potassium and Vitamins C and E. I ensure I eat a banana everyday especially the first thing in the morning. Banana’s work great for hair conditioning when added to any hair pack. It also prevents wrinkles on aged skin and are a boon for all skin types. The peel of banana when rubbed on acne heals them and also eradicates acne spots.
Papaya:
The anti-aging star ‘Papaya’ contains ‘papain’ which is a great source for Vitamin A. They work very well on aged skin since it exfoliates dead skin cells. When used on hair it provides the necessary nutrition and makes hair super soft! It imparts a great glow to any dull face. Basically a total winner when it comes to both skin and hair.
Pineapple:
I love the effects that pineapple give on my skin. It instantly makes skin soft and rejuvenates dead skin cells. This also helps to smooth-en the skin texture and not just the face but anywhere where you have rough hard skin. Try rubbing a slice of pineapple on your heels or elbows and you’ll know what I mean.
Peaches:
This is hands down the winner fruit for dry skin. It makes skin soft and supple and hair really silky. Just mix it with yogurt and can use it as a skin and hair mask. Also don’t forget to eat this yummy seasonal fruit.
Lemons:
Lemons are known for their ‘skin and hair’ cleansing properties. It is also a natural bleach that helps to lighten spots on the skin. It fights dandruff like nobody’s business! But ensure you always dilute it if you have sensitive skin.
Grapes:
Grapes are extremely good for dry and mature skin. It firms the skin and imparts shine to dull hair. Grapes contain high doses of anti-oxidants so just crushing them and applying it straight on your face will give you good benefits. I personally find them fun to eat as well!
So don’t just binge onto these fruits but also always ensure you keep some aside for your skin and hair.
Have a great day everyone!
Lots of Love and Light,
