Grooming For Men: Grooming Tools Every Man Should Have

Hello Guys!

Today this post is dedicated to all the men out there who are consciously taking good care of themselves and to those who are yet to join the club! Well as I mentioned in my previous post of how important it is to look after your skin, many times men often get confused as to what to keep and what not to keep in their quick easy fix grooming kit! So here I am trying to make it easy for you by listing 11 must haves for you to look good and feel great at all times the quick and easy way 😀

So without beating around the bush here’s my list!

1. A Razor or A Trimmer: Whether you are in a mood for the rough look or just plain lazy, keeping a safety razor in your kit is a good idea for a quick neat look. (Imagine you getting a call for an interview or for a date ! You really don’t want to flaunt your rough look there 😉 ) You can use a good safe razor or a trimmer whatever you are comfortable with, but don’t forget to always keep an extra blade just incase you need! I like the idea of a trimmer as this can help you get rid of those unwanted brow hairs if you have a unibrow, chest hair, banish those stray hairs peeking out of your nose/ears or do any landscaping you want based on the various attachments available these days. It’s worth the investment I feel!

2. A basic Nailcutter/clipper or a Manicure kit: Dirty nails are not only unhygienic but also a major turn off! I mean you don’t really want to eat the junk in your nails do you? (Eww I know!) But you accidentally kind of do that if you don’t clean your nails or keep them short. So a nail cutter/clipper or a basic manicure kit will help you get bonus points here 8)

3. A good all natural gel/cream for your hair: For a neat on the go look a good hair gel/cream is important. This will be very handy for your weekends especially, be it a boy’s night or a hunt night

4. A brush/comb: I know I know; you would think why! Our hair are not like you girls that we need to comb ever now and then. But then, even if your mane isn’t your crowning glory, you’ll still need this tool to keep it under control. Hair is notorious for being unruly, especially when you have a big meeting or date coming up. When the wind blows, there’s nothing like a comb for a quick fix-up, so keep one handy at all times. A small or folding comb will fit in your pocket and help turn a bad hair day into a, well, a better hair day!

5. Sunscreen: I ALWAYS mention this wherever I can that DO NOT step out without a sunscreen. This is the best anti-aging gift you can give to your skin. Even if you have to remain indoors a good SPF 40 sunscreen will do no harm 🙂

6. Face Wash: How many of you men are guilty of using a soap to wash your face? Hands UP! Trust me guys you really don’t want to use that soap on your skin if you care even 0.1 percent of how you look. Please do yourself a favor and get your self a good face wash without SLS/SLES. A suggestion would be cetaphil or sebamed which is safe and mild.

7. Shaving Cream: A good creamy shaving cream will only help you to get a good and safe shave. Don’t be lazy here!

8. Shaving brush: So you think you can create enough lather by your hands and can get away without using a shaving brush? Well guess what? You can’t ! Second to a good razor, a good shaving brush is all you need to achieve the best possible result when eliminating facial follicles. It helps to improve the barrier between the razor and skin, lifting facial hair to ensure a smoother shave with less irritation. Sounds good?

9. After shave Lotion/moisturizer: I vote for a moisturizer as it is all in one! You really want to moisturize your recently revealed skin with something cool and natural. It will give you a fresh and a complete feel as well 😀

10. Mouthwash: A super instant way to feel fresh and get ready for that special evening! 😛

11. A good perfume: Yes the last one to make you feel complete would be a good perfume that stays on you for a long time. Trust me guys a good smelling body can do wonders and add a lot to your already existing charm!
