Losing weight and staying fit is still a major challenge for most Indian girls (This includes women and ladies). Our culture, food and lifestyle in general play a huge role and sometimes also an obstacle. But its time to learn these simple things and follow them to ensure you stay fit and fab!

After my dearest husband went on a strict lifestyle change, and all of us seeing the amazing difference it made to him over all; all of us were convinced how important it is to keep a check on what you eat and when you eat! Gym and workouts of course play an important role, but trust me abs are made in the kitchen! So its always a combination of things that helps us lose weight and stay fit 😀
Lets see the things that CANNOT compromised when you talk about weight loss: Lose Weight and Stay Fit!
Lifting Weights:
If you want to loose some serious fat then it is time to lift some kick-ass weights and burn fat. Strength training helps you burn the stubborn fat and helps you get a toned look. Trust me, you feel GREAT after these strength workouts!

CARDIO:
A proper balance of cardio and weights are VERY important. Cardio will help you shed the extra calories and will pump up the blood making you look good and feel great.
RAW VEGGIES:
Make it a point to eat raw veggies every single day. If you are not a huge fan of raw veggies; then make yourself a delicious meal of stir fried veggies and any green soup. It will be a balanced meal and not give you extra calories. This could be your dinner. (BTW, I’ve become a pro at cooking soups and veggies-Thanks to Mr. Husbands lifestyle change)

NEVER SKIP BREAKFAST!
Yes, please never ever skip breakfast. You must feed your body within 20 minutes of waking up. It is a CRIME if you let your body starve. The best way to start your day is with some almonds and a banana; and the worst? TEA! Yup, TEA IS THE WORST thing to have it as a first thing in the morning. So, always start with a banana, then have tea followed by a healthy breakfast 🙂

KEEP FRUITS AS YOUR EARLY EVENING SNACKS:
I personally am a very poor fruit eater. So I try and incorporate fruits as my early evening snack with my green tea. It fills my stomach just right and gives me perfect energy for my evening workout time.
EAT HOME COOKED AND SIMPLE FOOD:
Keep your life simple! Stop going the western way of various seeds and crap! (It’s not crap exactly, but its just that we cannot stick to it forever, coz of availability) so stick to things that are available locally and eat pure simple home cooked food.
DITCH WHEAT!
You may find this contradictory to what I said earlier. Please make ‘Jowari’, ‘Bajra’, ‘Nachni’ rotis. They are more filling as compared to wheat and way more healthier and easy to digest. I have seen the difference after leaving wheat and sticking to only jowar (white millet), my tummy is less bloated and I feel better because of it 🙂
That’s it. I am going to keep this short and simple. Stick to your basics and you will soon see and feel the difference in your body, skin and hair <3 These simple lifestyle changes will not only help you to lose weight and stay fit, but also to maintain your weight loss and lift up your mood.

yeah vidhi, weight loss is not a rocket science, we just need to add some changes in diet, some lifestyle changes and accepting exercise as a part of life. Yeah that’s easy, i am doing that and getting good success.
our nature gave us loads of food options, we just need to pick right one.
