Have you ever wondered going natural/organic and living consciously is so important? I have always maintained that nothing beats natural/organic beauty products, some being edible!
Today Indian markets are flooded with beauty products from various brands that claim to be natural/organic; but on a serious note please do not buy unless you read the ingredient list! My personal experience at a newly introduced Australian brand was really bad, I mean the sales guy claimed to be all natural free of any chemicals and here when I read the ingredient list I read all kinds of parabens and other harmful chemicals. It really isn’t fair to us consumers. 👿
Hence I decided to write a post on some of the good well known organic beauty brands available in the markets, ranging from luxurious to brands that deliver but still are light on our pockets! 😀
Organic Beauty Brands In India
1. Forest Essentials:
This brand markets itself as a luxury Ayurveda brand and no wonder it really is! An expensive brand but worth indulging into. They have a wide variety of products. I have used their eye creams in the past and it’s a great product. I personally just cannot resist this brand and my legs automatically walk in the direction where the store is 😛 You can buy/checkout the products here
2. Aura Vedic:
This is a all natural product brand which is really pocket friendly 🙂 With products ranging from soaps to scrubs to masks they sure know how to attract customers. I have personally tried their masks, scrubs and hair oil which shall be reviewed soon 🙂 You may find Aura Vedic products online here or your may visit their kiosk in Inorbit mall opposite The Body Shop.
3. The Nature’s Co:
This is again a very nice brand when it comes to all natural Organic Products and a very impressive concept. I have already reviewed 2 products from this brand. You may check my reviews here and here. They have some excellent hair and skin care products that will prompt you for a repurchase. My experience with this brand honestly has been mixed! but I will not give up trying their products as they really do make some great products without a lot of dent in your pockets!
P.S The physical stores have complimentary spa treatments too! They also have a beauty box service which is tempting enough for you to give this brand a try 🙂

4. Shahnaz Husain:
One of the oldest organic/natural beauty brand in India. The very famous Shahnaz Husain has sure made her way in the list of top organic beauty brands in India. The list of products from this brand is almost endless catering to every need and every pockets! A few well known products worth trying are her diamond facial range, Shamilk for under eyes and Shatonic for hair. I am yet to lay my hands on this brand!

5. Khadi:
This brand is brought to us by Gramodaya Ashram. They have all kinds of hair and skin products and some of them are pitty good! The products are very light on your pocket as well 🙂 They have some good hand made soaps that you can try for starters!

6. Biotique Botanicals:
Biotique Botanicals is another well known brand and is eligible for organic beauty brands in India listing. They have a wide variety of products ranging from natural sunscreen to baby care products all under one roof. They also have a few make up products which are worth trying. In terms of money this is again a good averagely expensive brand and honestly it really gives you a wide variety to choose from catering to all your beauty cravings! My best friend is almost addicted to this brand, she just got the sunscreen from Biotique which I happen to try and I think that is gonna be next sunscreen too 😀

IMPORTANT TIP: The products listing only the key ingredients are not organic/natural in my eyes!
These are a few brands I have listed as these are tried and tested by me directly or indirectly. There are lot of new organic beauty brands emerging in the market, I shall keep updating this list or come-up with a part 2 post if and when ever I get a chance to try and test it 🙂
