Organic harvest face wash review

Let me first start by saying ‘Sorryโ€™ ๐Ÿ™‚ I have really been tied up mentally more. I have changed jobs last week and the new job is taking a lot of my time and energy. You know the feeling when you get into unknown ? The fears, pressure of performing it all kind of adds up to my mental peace. I have also been signed up by Aditya Birla for a few health related articles that I need to write for them, so having committed to them, I have to give that also priority. Phew! Anyway leaving the blabber I will be regular again and promise to be there ๐Ÿ™‚

On my birthday I got a wonderful surprise from my best friend in Pune. I came home to a beautiful gift box from Organic Harvest. Having eyed this brand since some time I was thrilled. This face wash was the first thing I tried and well, rest of the products followed the very same day ๐Ÿ˜›

About Organic Harvest:

Organic skincare is an incredible concept that reflects healthy lifestyle since the products are derived from plants that have been grown without chemical fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides, making them skin friendly. Organic Harvest is the first Indian homegrown brand which has an entire range of organic skin care, body care and hair care products to offer to its consumers. The brand was launched in June 2013 after a thorough R&D of over two years. Global organizations like EcoCert, OneCert & Natrue have certified the ingredients and raw materials that we use in our products which are free from any harsh chemicals, Parabens, Phthalates, mineral oil, PABA, petrolatum, paraffin or animal ingredients.

My experience with Organic Harvest 3 in 1 Face Wash:

So I of course used this the day I got my hands on it. My first impression was wow! my skin feels soft. This has very mild and perfect for daily use scrubbing particles that removes the dirt and dust from your skin.

It is an evening use face wash and not morning, because we do not need such strong face washes in the morning. It cleans your skin very well and definitely does not make it dry. I could feel that all the BB creams and sunscreens and pollution has been removed wonderfully and skin really feels soft.

Orgaic harvest - 3 in 1 Face wash

Color and Texture: I love the blue color a lot! It is wonderfully refreshing to see the greenish blue color. The texture as mentioned earlier is mild and scrubs just fine. Safe enough to use it daily.

Fragrance: Has a mild citrusy fragrance. Ok ok kinds.

Proโ€™s of Organic Harvest 3 in 1 Face Wash:

  1. Cleans skin really well
  2. Makes skin smooth and soft
  3. Love the refreshing blue color
  4. It cleans and scrubs together
  5. They have a guarantee that if you are not satisfied with the product, you can send it back! Now that is what I call - Confidence ๐Ÿ˜€
  6. Free of Parabens, PABA, Mineral oil and Animal Ingredients
  7. Plant based product line (Though can be allergic to some)
  8. Ecocert certified

Conโ€™s of Organic Harvest 3 in 1 Face Wash:

  1. Now here comes my problem! They have ONLY mentioned key ingredients. I just understand that if you are confident that your brand is ‘Organicโ€™, why wouldnโ€™t you boast about the ingredients in it? Does anyone have a logical explanation to it?
  2. It says it is in a surfactant base, does that mean SLS/SLES? What kind of surfactants are we looking at here?
  3. Whitens? Umm.. Common no product and definitely not a face wash can whiten your skin! Tired of this claim.

My Rating: 3/5

Last Words:

I really do not like brands that give incomplete information. Having said that I hope they read this and clarify the doubts so I can update ๐Ÿ™‚ Over all the product works really well.
