Merry Christmas Amigos!
So how are you all doing? I just celebrated my first wedding anniversary in the craziest way possible. My super adorable man, threw a surprise trip to Dubai and not just that, he also booked a sky diving slot for US. So yeah, we took another leap of faith and jumped from the plane! What an adrenaline rush and an experience of a lifetime. ![]()

OK enough of my blabber, today I am here with this super yummy and an amazing DIY scrub which will make your body oh, so soft! and help you with ingrown hair as well. Read on to get the Oh! SO Soft Skin..
I love scrubbing my body and am a huge fan of body scrubs be it a DIY scrub or a ready one. I get tempted to buy ALL of them. I literally have to stop myself from buying; at one time I have like 2 DIY scrubs and 2 store brought! ![]()
Well since my love for DIY scrub is never ending, hereβs presenting my favorite of all the scrub I have made till date. This one really softens my skin and leaves it fresh and it smells heavenly (If you like coffee smell that is! π )
DIY Scrub Recipe:
Ingredients Required:
- 2 tbsp - Powdered Brown Sugar
- 2 tbsp - Powdered Organic Coffee
- 1 tbsp - Powdered Oats
- 8-10 tbsp of Raw Organic Honey
- You can also add essential oils of your choice
Method:
- Well the procedure is quite self-explanatory, still I will just write it down for you.
- In a fancy jar, add the powdered sugar, powdered coffee and powdered oats
- Mix them all well, ensure that you have mixed it properly
- Now start adding honey, add half the quantity required and mix well
- See if you need more, and keep adding little by little; mixing well all the time π
- Put a tight lid on the Jar, and store it in your bathroom. If you are living at a hot place, keep some space in your refrigerator for the pretty looking jar π
In this festive season, you can make it in batches and give it as cute Christmas gifts for all your friends and family. You never know, you might get a few professional orders!
After Scrub Body Care:
- Always use mild pressure while scrubbing, yes on your legs too! Donβt ever scrub harsh, you will spoil your skin
- Donβt use a body wash or a soap after the scrub, this does the job of cleaning well
- Once you take a shower, pat your body dry donβt rub that Oh! so soft skin π
- Now itβs time to give some nourishment, so moisturize your skin properly after scrubbing
- If you are heading in the sun, donβt forget to wear your sunscreen since your skin is fresh and free from the dead skin.
Make a few batches, and let me know how did they turn out! Happy Holidays everyone… Smile, dance and Laugh always ![]()
Love and Light,

Hi Vidhi
Congrats on your first anniversary. It sounds really nerve-wracking and adrenaline slumping from the very description of the same π
And thanks for the DIY scrub. Will caster sugar be fine instead of brown sugar?
Hi Nidhi!
Oh yes it sure was. I would clearly term it as the best experience of my life!! π
