Iraya Jirakadi Lepa (Depigmentation Recipe)
Helloo Everyone!
Today is a product review by a very good brand Iraya. Iraya is into selling natural ayurvedic products and has definitely made a mark in Indian markets. I had to try their depigmentation pack which consists of Jeera. They say it is a miraculous pack which lightens your pigmentation to a large extent. So does it work?
Lets see what does Irara have to say about their depimentation recipe:
This miraculous ayurvedic lepa is very effective in reducing pigmentation marks and its regular usage evens out skin tone. Devoid of any harmful ingredients it can be used without worrying about the side effects. The price is not high which makes it pocket friendly.
Price: Rs. 495 for 50 grams (You may get it at a discounted price online) or there is a sale going on, on their own website here.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH IRAYA JIRAKADI LEPA (DEPIGMENTATION RECIPE)
I bought this jar quite sometime back and used it regularly for one month, forgot about it and then again started using this just about recently. So my review will be based upon one month of regular use.
I have pigmentation on my left cheek which is VERY stubborn (trust me when I say very!) My dermatologist has informed that it is genetics and nothing really can be done about it. Though my belief in nature will never fade away and hence I keep trying different things that could work π I always knew Jira is very good for depigmentation, I also made a Jira pack for myself long time back, but when I saw this, the lazy side of me bounced back and I immediately ordered it π
My first impression of this lepa was the smell - It smells EXACTLY like Jira and I was SO happy that I have a real organic product in my hands. I LOVE Jira smell though π You are supposed to mix this in milk and apply a thin layer on the affected area. You are also supposed to keep it for 1 hour (that seems a bit long to me, but I guess it is required).
The first time I used, I applied it on my whole face (over excited, I guess!) It really stings - But that is absolutely normal since it is also mentioned on the carton. I know its normal because the one I had made for myself also stung. It stung pretty hard, but not as bad. After one hour I removed it and I noticed a very clean face. Ofcourse no difference on pigmentation but i liked the immediate effect.
After about one month, I saw my artificial pigmentation was almost gone and the stubborn genetics one was lightened. I knew it would not go away but I was happy with the results. Though when I stopped it did darken again but its fine. This pack takes care of it temporarily π
